How Midjourney parameters change the frame: lock aspect, then stylize

Twenty artist names will not fix framing. They make a collage you have already seen. Framing is where the subject sits, and how far the model may “round.”

I run two jobs: same subject, lens, and negatives; one parameter changes. Change two and you will not know who deleted a part.

Aspect is the job

Wrong ratio means every style word is first aid on a dead frame. Fix ratio first.

1. Cover or banner: set --ar before you write poetry, so a late crop does not kill the subject.
2. Icon or avatar: stay near square; skip “epic wide.”
3. A set of one subject: lock seed, change only --ar, watch for the subject leaving the frame.

Stylize is permission to round

High values look better and lie more about part counts. I drop stylize for explainer art and raise it for mood. Do not ask one frame for both accurate parts and film fog.

Write the winning pair into a template, not into chat memory. Rerun after a version bump. Defaults drift.

Parameters will not save type or logos. Overlay later.
