First Runway internal clip: cheap motion, then upscale

The first clip usually dies because you generated large, then spent the pack on “one more look.”

Start with a framed still (Midjourney or a plate). Image-to-video, shortest duration.

Score only motion

Pass that test, then upscale or key. A real product on a generated plate is mood, not a set.

1. Did the subject grow parts?
2. Does the move collapse after two seconds?
3. Is there a loopable two seconds? Cut it. If not, change the prompt — do not upscale.

Dialogue is yours

Record a voice track for internal demos. Generated audio is a temp. Real captions in the NLE.

Client finish lives on a real timeline. Runway is footage.
