The windows look the same. The jobs do not. I put daily rewrites in ChatGPT, “read it first, improvise less” in Claude, images and Google-resident files in Gemini, cheap Chinese reasoning in DeepSeek, and “give me a link” in Perplexity. This page is not a model leaderboard. Leaderboards rot in a week; “is this a short mail or thirty pages of minutes” does not. Each review covers jobs I keep getting right and wrong, with the official site at the bottom so you can check. If you only want five loud ideas, do not start with Claude. If you will publish unchecked numbers, do not live in ChatGPT alone. Pick the task, then the window. The five reviews can be read in any order. Start with the one closest to what you owe this week.
